Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, January 22, 2011

We woke up super early this morning and headed out to the beach trying to score some fun waves at first light.  The waves were running about chest to shoulder high on sets, with pretty light offshore winds and the water was nice.  Check it out!!!

When we got to the beach, there was only one guy out taking advantage in the lineup.  Here he is riding a nice little nugget.

Oliver “El Monito” Solis took a ride with us and paddled out right away.  He was taking many fun ones and he was ripping as well.  Check out this little sequence, shot 1.

Shot 2, smacking the lip!

Shot 3, a little bit of air before he landed it!

Shot 4, clean and safe.  That old man still rips, uh!

Later on, a few other guys showed out to the beach and made it out too.  It is so nice to wake up early, go to the beach and score some fun surf almost by yourself.  Don’t you think so?

It is even nicer to sleep on the beach and nobody bothering you, just listening the waves breaking close to your ears.  Home sweet home, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

The conditions couldn’t been better this morning.  Glassy waves, no crowd, warm water and waves all over the place, we just needed a little bit of sun but we are not complaining.  Marc and his new friends from Holland just seconds away from fun.

On the last shot of the day we have this unknown pale rider, so ready to attack the lip of this upcoming section.  Please check back with us tomorrow.
