Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, January 22, 2010

Hi and welcome our daily surf report.  This is Miguel bringing you a little bit of action from the beach.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to catch a few waves.  The waves were small but super fun, running about knee to waist high on sets with nice offshore winds.  Check out the lineup!!!

Today we are going to start off with a local guy.  He was catching some fun waves.  Check him out on this sweet little right hander.

In this shot we have “Pancho Sanchez” and D-lite riding the same wave at the same time on this small but fun little left.

We had a couple locals out there.  This is Felipe and he was ripping all over place.  Check him out on this little nugget with a cool style.

The waves were small but super fun for the SUP.  This is Pancho Sanchez riding on this beautiful right hander, one of the better set waves that we had come in today.

Today we had a lot of beginners in the lineup trying to get a couple of waves.  Here is one of them trying to stand up on this little nugget.

The lineup was not very crowded today, we only had 10 or 12 surfers out there.  On this shot we have this unknown surfer riding on this wave.

There were some sweet wipe outs in the lineup.  Today’s award goes to this local guy with a sick one.  He actually hit the bottom on this one.

Today our very own D-lite was trying to stand up on the SUP.  It was very difficult for him, because today was his first time he had tried it.

On this photo D-lite was trying for second time but again he ate do-do.

D-lite was working hard today trying to get some waves with the SUP.  Look at him trying hard to catch this nice little wave.

On the last shot of the day we have D-lite with another sweet wipe out that he had today.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  We hope to have some waves tomorrow.  Please check back with us!
