Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, December 26, 2017

Brian Scott

Hey everyone, happy day after! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! If you didn’t catch what we got for our Christmas down here, take a little scroll back that last couple days and check it out. In the meantime, let’s see what today had in store for us.

Brian Scott

The swell kinda came and went. But we still had some fun waves out there today. Everyones just relaxing after all the really fun festivities here.

Brian Scott

Hayden made it down for the arvo session for the rights….

and the lefts.

Brian Scott

A happy group of 3 coming out for the PM shift as well.

Brian Scott

If you compared today to our X-mas, swell, it wasn’t as big, but it was still just as fun since there were only a handful of people out.

Brian Scott

The reef looked super fun as well.

Brian Scott

But with some residual lumps like this still coming in every so often at the beachie, I think this break had my vote for today.

Brian Scott

My vecino, Eddie, eagerly waiting for the the tide to come in a little as he sat and watched it for a while. Come on buddy, lets get out there!!

Brian Scott

There were some menacing looking clouds coming on from the east, pretty quickly, so I knew I was going to have to dodge a little bit of some rain.

Brian Scott

I took to some shelter under some trees on the beach, but the action didn’t slow down out in the lineup.

Brian Scott

Usually when it rains, it cleans up the winds (be it onshore or offshore)

Brian Scott

It’s actually not that uncommon to see it go full on glass-off!

Brian Scott

Of course, the regular beach goers were out in full pose waiting for the epic sunset.

Brian Scott

The winds did die a little and it got a bit glassy. But the offshores came back and it was time to look for some barrels.

Brian Scott

Or that perfect corner or end section to stomp a mean little carve on.

Brian Scott

We had some pretty epic moments of goodness here today for sure!!!

Brian Scott

Now it was time to blast off into the sunset…!

SO if you’re planning on hanging around here for New Years, OR if you’re coming this week and wanna know what’s going on, here’s the be it all Party to attend this coming Sunday. A few things to know and or consider for the big beach party:

Please no fireworks - this is something that the doggies have specially requested. There will be all kinds of noise makers and things like that so leave all the professional sky art to the pros… thank you in advance.

Bring plenty of cash on hand, as there will be no tabs running just this evening. Thank you in advance.

Also, if you’re traveling from outside of the gates, bring your ID’s.

If you can, try and hang on to your plastic cups as this will make it a lot easier than waiting for a cup, when ordering your drinks.

Lastly, its free entrance, so come for an always unforgettable night with us at Pili’s Restaurant and beach bar!!! *** Drink & enjoy, but please taxi or ride share so we all get home safely!! :)

Brian Scott

Here’s to another GREAT day in Nica-Land! Hope you enjoyed the goodies for today. Peep on by the rest of the week as we count down the last few days of what was an incredible 2017! See ya back here mañana! Cheers ~
