Feliz Navidad everyone! This is Baldo reporting from Santana beach. After celebrating Christmas the waves are getting smaller, I guest Santa came just on time for the tail of the last swell.

The waves are getting smaller but that doesn’t mean anything when you are talking about 2-3 foot waves.

December 25th is a holiday for most of the countries and here in Nicaragua people try to come to the beach for a nice walk on the each with your family and friends!

There were more people walking on the sand enjoying the day than surfers in the water… which is rare at Santana. People come for a different parts of the country to spend the day at the beach, bringing their chairs and grill to the beach.

The waves are getting back to their normal size for this season, which is small and always fun.

Of course, they also bring their hammocks with them… there is nothing better than enjoy the beach relaxing on a nice hammock.

Ga Surfboards stands for Giezi Amador Surfboards, a local shaper that has being making surfboards for the last 7 years, he has a full factory employing 8 people from the community.

Among his services there is a surf shop, a ding repair service and a custom surfboard factory.

In this 2018, instead of paying an airline a fee to bring your surfboard, just contact GA Surfboards to have them made your dreamed surfboard that you can take back to your country as a Nicaraguan souvenir.
