Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, December 17, 2020

Hello and welcome back to your daily surf report from SurfNSR located here on the emerald coast of Nicaragua. It's hard to believe that it is freezing cold in other parts, as the Nor'easter dumps snow in the Northeast of the USA and winter takes its grip we are enjoying 82 degree sunny days on the beach.

The surf swell is fading and with the morning low tide it didn't look like much, but it was perfect for some surf lessons and to get the kids out and get their feet wet.

Here is another one of the Surf Photography team and a great guy Baldo and his rad son Mateo taking full advantage of the epic kid sized waves on tap today.

Mateo making the drop look easy and getting ready to shred the face of this wave. Yeeeew! Yeah buddy!

Dogs enjoy watching their owners surf and get pretty excited when they see one pop up and ride a wave like that.

What about this picture perfect peeler! Mateo showing off those skills that bagged him a prize at the Chompipe contest a few weeks ago. He's gonna be a competitor for years to come.

Check out this sick hawk looking bird that flew over head doing circles using the offshore wind to float around as he scoured the ground for his next meal.

Okay guys maybe take some more shots when the tide fills in if the surf is looking good, otherwise maybe just go play a round of golf and play some beach volleyball. The great thing about having so much to do within the gates here to keep you active and enjoying the beautiful weather. Okay guys and gals hasta luego!
