Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, November 29, 2012

Hey everyone, welcome to another beautiful day here in Nicaragua! Brian here with the surf report today, and it's looking small again today, around waist high out front with some plus peaks further down the beach. Sunny skies, offshore winds and no crowds though, what more could you ask for? Ok, maybe a little more size, just be patient people, looks like something maybe next week. Anyway, we have waves, so check it out!

The shape wasn't the greatest right out front. The waves seemed to have a little wobble on it, and a little sideshore wind. This was the only decent wave I saw the whole time I was watching.

Arling and his buddy were the only ones surfing out front. The mediocre conditions didn't bother them though, they were just glad to have the waves all to themselves.

Here's Arling's amigo on a nice little, sandy right that came through. I'm sure he's having more fun surfing than cutting grass with a machete.

I noticed there were a few waves breaking down the beach that seemed to be a little bigger, so I decided to check it out and see what I could find.

Well it's not pipe, but it had a little more size and consistency to it. There were a few guys out paddling around trying their best to catch a wave against the gusty offshore winds.

One lucky surfer managed to get a decent left all the way to the beach before calling it a day.

In case you don't know, Nicaragua is also know for really good fishing, whether it's mackerel, wahoo, dorado, or sailfish, Nicaragua has it all. If you want to get out on the high seas and bring home a fresh catch for dinner, the small surf days are perfect.

And then there's golf! Nothing better than you and your friends with some cold beer, to see who can sink that hole in one. Well, that's it for today people, hopefully more swell next week. Stay tuned. Adios amigos!
