Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, November 14, 2018

Brian Scott

Happy Hump Day! Another fine day in the eleven month of 2018 here in Nica-Land. Waves were in the small to fun zone again today, but anytime you can be at the beach all day is a good day… right? Let’s see how it went.

Brian Scott

The good thing about this place is if there’s any kind of swell, even when its small, there is always an outside set in your session that will get you paddling and your heart going just a little.

Brian Scott

Peter Kerson making due with this 2 footer and not a bad job in doing so either.

Brian Scott

Sloping peeling rights in the afternoon light always looks good no matter where you sit.

Brian Scott

Caught this hombre driving hard off the bottom.

Brian Scott

Just in time to see him pull this nice schwaaaack. Sick one amigo!

Brian Scott

Down the beach, there were some fun ones coming in…. even for some end section floaters, like this dude pulling off quite nicely here.

Brian Scott

Up the beach looked just as appealing.

Brian Scott

Señor Snider taking off on a late one in front of a little front row section.

Brian Scott

Yeah, he pulled it off too!

Brian Scott

Ripping occurs pretty much year round down here. I can personally attest to this after seeing it for over a decade now.

Brian Scott

Always good to see my amigo Ricky aka “Machado” Guanipa down here in Nicaragua. He’s heeling up from a bad ankle/foot injury from a big air he pulled right before his trip down. Good thing he’s got some time on the books here. He’ll be back to ripping sooooon enough!!

Brian Scott

This chico not only came to Nicaragua at one of the best times to be here during the year, but he's made the surf report twice today. Go back and see slide #2!!!

Brian Scott

Tony and Mateo pulling up the club… the beach club that is. Now you see why Tony’s always so ripped… he doesn’t double fist his drinks, he alternates his booze pounding arm with his Shake Weight arm all day long. Lean Mean Tony Z, surfing & drinking workout machine!!!

Brian Scott

The calm before the storm.

Brian Scott

The winds really picked up with a pretty good rain squall coming from inland just at the end of the day. I hope those guys can hurry up with their thatch work before it pours rain.

Brian Scott

Not too many beaches you can do this at, especially without filling out a hundred safety release forms. Here, we just book you a horse and you go as fast as you can, or just cruise. Either way, it’s up to you. It’s your vacation!

Kristhall sending a nice warm adiós from Nica-Land on this fantastic Miércoles! Thanks for checking us out today surf fans. See you all mañana. Cheers ~
