Hello everyone, this is Baldo reporting this time from Colorado. The onshore winds from yesterday stayed longer than anyone expected and it looks like it’s staying like this for another day or two.

I’ve been in this parts of the Tola woods for the last two weeks as NSR Guest Services (covering Parker), also training the new guy, Kevin (he is doing his first report tomorrow!) on how to take good care of our guests.

Today was hot and humid but with the onshore breeze the beach felt really good… if you stayed in the shade of course.

A group of bodysurfers were the only ones catching all the lefts. They were having a blast, going for long rides, rotating and looking all good in the waves.

On the rights you could see many big turns with many big sprays on each wave.

And on the rights were around 6-8 surfers enjoying the long walls turn after turn.

And every so often you could also see the bottom of the surfboards during small air rotations.

You can see Katie in the water almost every day here at Colorado. But if you want to see her big smile up close, come by the NSR Surf Shop on the weekends and say Hi to her, she will make sure you have a good time while buying at the shop.

Tomorrow the waves will get a little bit smaller and the winds will continue flowing the wrong way, but the water will still be warm and the waves will still be fun.
