Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 29, 2011

The waves were a tad bit smaller than yesterday and were still super fun.  The winds held up until just after midday, enough for everybody to get their surf on.  We've got lots of great photos for you today from Juan Bustos, so scroll down and check 'em out!  We don't know this guy, but he was scoring some fun ones.  Looks like Renato might have got the shot from the water too!

This grom was out ripping and actually pulled a 360 on this one.  We have the whole sequence and thought this was a cool shot.

Speaking of sequences, Pancho was ripping out there today.  Here's a sequence of his patented backside gash!  (That's right, it's patented, so don't try to do one!)  Shot 1.

Pancho, shot 2 - the set-up.

Pancho, Shot 3.

Pancho, Shot 4 and loving his new Simon Anderson board.

Pancho, Shot 5.

Pancho, shot 6.

Ride it out Pancho, that was sick.

Chris Putnam was out today and grabbing some nice ones.  The colors on this one give it that "tropical island" look.

Dude, did you get the shot?

This guy was just a double-grab away from landing this one!

This is Popoyo Chris, getting deep on a nice right-hander.  Chris was killing it out there the last couple of days.

Riley posted up down the beach and kept looking for the air sections.  Looks like he found one...

This spot is known for it's barrelz.  Here's an unknown pale rider looking to get in the green room.

Wow, what a fun day of surf.  Looks like October might not be so bad after all.  If you want to come down, shoot us an email.  We've got some great October specials and you'll be surfing this stuff by yourself (almost).

What’s up folks?  This is Miguel Mora bringing you all the action for this Thursday surf report.  We went to the beach in the afternoon trying to catch some fun waves.  It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets with light onshore winds and the water was warm.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have our very good friend Allan “La Prenda” Carcamo, he was getting some fun waves.  Check him out looking good with a cool little floater.

When we arrived to the beach this afternoon not many people in the lineup, but we had a lot of people having a good time.  They are happy enjoying of this beautiful and sunny day with the cold beers.

The locals were commanding the lineup today.  Here we have Gerson “El Botetas” Barbosa with a Sweet backside snap on this little wave.

Today we had a few local gringos doing their things.  Here we have one of them, this David “El Pelon” Osiris flying of the top of this small but fun session.  Good job Pelon.

The lineup was not very empty we had about 12 or 14 surfers in the water doing their things.  This is Juan “La Gargola” he was ripping all over the place.  Check him out throwing some buckets on this little nugget.

We had a couple international surfers trying to catch some waves.  Here we have this unknown rider picking up on this nice sized left hander, one of the many waves that he caught today.

On the last shot of the day we have another unknown surfer killing every single wave.  Look at him destroying the lip of this little nugget.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back with us tomorrow!
