Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, September 07, 2008

Welcome to the Sunday surf report, this is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic bringing you all the action from the beach.  Today we loaded up the NSR crew and went to the beach for the last session with our boss “Pancho Sanchez” of the season.  He is heading back to the states for a few months.  We are super stoked because the wind turned offshore and the waves were pretty fun. It’s running about chest to head high on sets, and the water is starting to clear up.  Check it out.

Today a lot of people made it to the beach to catch some fun waves and to get some sun.  Here is the first shot of the day of “Pancho Sanchez” taking off on a fun looking right.

For the second shot we caught “D-lite” with a sick front side layback on a nice left.  He was really stoked because he hasn’t been surfing that much lately.  Hopefully the wind stays offshore for a few more days before we start to feel the affects from hurricane “Ike”.  We shall wait and see.

We would like to introduce you all to one of our new friends.  Her name is Erika and she is from Boulder Colorado.  She is here taking a little break from school trying to get as many waves as she can.  As you can see, she bought herself a new NSR rash guard today.  So when you come down for a visit, make sure to look us up so you can get one of your very own.

We wanted to post another shot of our “Jefe” making the most of his last surf here in Nicaragua for a little while.  He was all over the place catching most of the best set waves that were coming in but that seems to always be the case.

Last night we had a going away slash moustache party for “Pancho Sanchez”. As you can see, we  all grew one for the occasion.  To start the night off the whole NSR crew went and had a great dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in town.  Then we headed out to the local watering hole were we invited almost the whole town to say “adios” to the man.  This is a group photo of the NSR crew, from left to right we have Jairo “Come Pan” Ramos,” Carlos Caliente”,” Dlite McMahon, “Pancho Sanchez” and “Roberto Lucha Libre Garcia”.

We wanted to post one more of “Pancho Sanchez” just because we thought this was a good picture of him.  We hope that you have a good time with your family and friends back in Florida.  Please check back with us tomorrow, it looks we are going to have swell and hopefully the wind will be offshore.
