Nicaragua Surf Report for Friday, August 01, 2008

Hi folks, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the action of the first surf report of this month.  Yeah buddies, today I headed up north to take a couple of good photos of our friends from Miami Beach, Fl.  The waves were super fun today running about shoulder with some head high sets coming through, the wind was off shore and the water super clear and warm.  Check it out.

Here is a shot of our friends, they made it out today to have fun and get a bunch of killer photos to take back home.  To the left we have Ted Key and Tom to the right.  These guys had lots of problems with their suitcases in the air plane but they definitely wanted to score some fun ones, and they bought their surfboard back in San Juan del Sur to be out there today.

We had a great day out there today, so these guys decided to introduce themselves.  Hi everybody I am Ted Keys from Miami, I want to say hi to my beautiful wife and my son Kainoa.  I wish you were here.

In the other hand, I am Tom from Miami as well.  I met lots of brothers in Christ in the water and the photographer Roberto was first class.  I had a great first day down here in Nicaragua.  Peace!!!

Some of the locals shoot out to the beach today and were killing it.  Here is Carlitos getting into a nice one.  Not a soul knows this wave better than this kid.

The lineup wasn’t crowd today but there were some unknown surfers out.  Here is this guy so animated to surf this wave and trying to land this air maneuver.

It is not very usual to see little kids at this spot killing every single wave that comes through.  Today was that epic day that everybody wants to be part of it.  This little kid is about 9 years old and was doing his thing out there with his little brother.  Check him out going big with a sick floater.

Here I caught Joey from Action Tours taking off on one of the bigger set waves of the day.  I don’t even have to mention what happened in the next shot, I just can say auchhh!!!

Here is another unknown rider bottom turning a sick right hander.  Actually I got a bunch of good photos of you buddy, so let us know if you want to get them.

Greg “La Panga” made it out today on his brand new boat “La Panga Rosa” and had a good time in the water.  He in effect was scoring many of the better waves that came through; here is this shot to prove it.

The last shot of the day goes to Dereck from San Diego who was ripping a on some sizeable waves.  The waves should be pretty fun tomorrow, so check back with us.  Lucha out!!!
