Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, August 02, 2008

Hi folks, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the Saturday surf report from Maderas.  Today tons of people made it out to the beach and was having so much fun, some of the people was surfing, meanwhile other ones were just relaxing on the beach drinking some Tonas and warming up for the big party tonight.  The waves were super fun running about shoulder to head high on sets with some occasional over head sets that were coming through, the wind was off shore and the water was crystal clear.  Check out what we got today.

Did I say tons of people?  Check out this shot and try to deduce how many people were out.  There were over 50 guys out and around 100 on the beach, I am not kidding this time!!!

Let’s start with the action, today we had a lot of backpackers taking off on every single wave that came through, making it hard to all the good surfer who wanted to rip a wave all the way in to the beach.  Here is Rodolfo “El Tablon” Zapata who was asking for some respect in the water.

Always when we have good waves and lots of people on the beach, we have some beautiful chicks around.  Today wasn’t the exception; we had from American to local cute chicks out, including some European on this shot.  I hope all of them stay out and party tonight, so it might be an interesting night.

We had some great surfer girls out there as well.  Last night “Las Chicas Bravas” were out having a good time drinking some Flor de Cana  Today they were out there fighting with the big hangover and taking a couple of fun waves.

Here is the main plate of the day; it looks like nobody understands the best thing of surfing “SHARE THE WAVES AND MAKE SOME NEW FRIENDS”.  Don’t forget it, please!!!

Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella paddled out today and was catching a couple of good waves.  Here he is with a cool vertical move on his brand new board sponsored by Century 21 and Santa Cruz.

Here was caught Lester “El Coyotito” Solis going big with a sweet front side snap.  This kid has a good potential but he can’t surf very frequently because he has to work very hard to support his family.

Eu was so stoke to be able to paddle out today and was having so much fun out there.  He’s been out of the surf for a while because he’s too busy running the Surf and Sport Shop in town.

There were some sizeable sets today that everybody wanted to take.  Here is one of the lucky guys of the day riding a nice one.

Hey folks, I went for a ride and hopefully we’ll be back tomorrow.  Have a good one!!!
