Hola amigos and welcome to the Friday surf report. You ever wonder what this place looks like when it goes flat??? Well step on in to see how we do it Nica style when this place see’s some it’s smallest surf (which isn’t very often, as you well know).

Almost dead low tide, swell’s around 1-2 feet and the crowds…. hey, where’d everyone GO??

Compared to that last wide shot of what looks like a lake. This is our 1-2 feet. Still looks pretty fun eh!

Mikey B, throwing down in the smaller stuff today, Texas style! Although he’s been here for almost a month, he’s seen AND surfed some of the BEST and uncrowded waves around here for the month of July. But that’s only because he’s been doing mini stealth missions to some of the best kept remote secret spots around here. Yeah Mikey!!!

Heck, he even managed to snag this barrel, actually the only barrel I saw out there. This one’s definitely a 2 footer though!

It’s good to be beachside anytime you’re visiting down here. This is the infamous NSR Beach house and if you’ve ever stayed here, you know it’s the number 1 house on beach front row to Playa Colorados. It’s also right next door to Pili’s restaurant and beach bar, so it’s no wonder this home is rented out pretty much all year long.

I think I counted like 4 or 5 hombres to this one chica. Still always nice to see some ladies (or in this case una mujer out there contending with the boys).

I think the one thing that almost everyone shares in common when traveling here, is no matter where you’re from, you’re used to the small days. For us here, it’s actually a time to finally rest up from surfing so many good days on end.

No, no wait, I was only saying that hypothetically… you folks don’t have to go home. I mean unless you’re only going home (back to your Casa, Condo or Eco Casita) to get dressed up to come back for dinner. Yeah then that’s ok! Alright chicos, that’s the small wave report for today.
