Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, July 30, 2020

Thursday surf report coming from one of Nicaragua's best and most consistent waves. The waves were playful sized today and the conditions were just amazing. We had a lot of fun shooting this report today with some assistance from @dunkchris who had the idea of taking the GoPro out and catching some water shots. Cruise thru the pics and see what we got.

When I pulled up at the beach the only guy out was John and he was scoring back to back to back uncontested waves.

Then Kenny went out and started scoring some sick ones too.

How about this shot by @dunkchris! Up close with the GoPro he caught a bunch of sick shots.

Tony cross stepping to the nose for some Hang Five and Hang Ten action.

Hey that's me! Don't you love seeing yourself on the surf report? I know when I was back in San Diego I would always be checking to see what the waves are like down here in paradise and living here now I'm always checking to see if I made the report.

Danai right before pop-up moment.

Aga was out catching waves and having fun too!

Not only did Chris get a bunch of sick GoPro shots but he was also scoring some sick waves too! He rode 3 different boards out there today, the waves were fun on any size or shape board today.

Long distance shot of Koji tearing down the line.

Elvin cruised out after seeing everybody having so much fun in the water and quickly got himself part of the action as well.

Some of the local boys rolled down to the beach and were putting on a show for the people on the beach.

Nice peeling waves with plenty of push.. and this is a smaller day here in Nica but the waves were still fun as per usual.

Always cool when the Shortboards and Longboards can surf side by side.

Robert found his way down to the beach to score some waves. It's the way of life here; golf, surf, eat, sleep, and repeat.

Kenny making his way up to the nose for the shot.

Tony was scoring a bunch of waves and has a bunch of water shots from today, speaking of water shots if you're looking for some water shots of yourself this is the guy to talk to as he's starting a water shots photography monthly subscription. If you see him around ask for the details.

There were lots of peeling waves for working on turns and maneuvers, but if you were in the right spot at the right time you might have been able to score some mini-barrels as well.

Ryder checking with momma if she's throwing the shaka correctly, yeah girl super stoked!

Liam has been working on his short board game, transitioning from the long board to the short board and handling biz! Looking good out there bro! Now pump that face and build up some speed and you'll be launching airs before you know it. Yeeew!

Just like this local kid getting some boost.

Derek can usually be seen riding his 6'8" Fowler board but today he brought out the big stick 9'0" long board cruising.

One more shot of Kenny with the beachfront houses in the background. What a life we are living, I'm reminded daily how blessed we are to be here.

Is this image mirrored? No that's Tony and I setting up for a party wave and moments before the board transfer :p Okay folks hope you enjoyed the report today. Definitely was fun making it today, big shoutout to Chris for the idea and the sick water shots. Check out Don Eloy's for bomb buffalo wings and pizza or the weekly specials prepared for take-out or delivery call 8474-8043.
