Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, July 22, 2019

Javier Baldovinos

Hello everyone! did you have a great weekend just like the nice one we had here in Nicaragua? Well, it's time to relax at the office and enjoy another Monday's Surf Report!

Javier Baldovinos

At Panga Drops the conditions were kinda windy which turned it into a bumpy ride.

Javier Baldovinos

At PD it's all about speed and big turns, and when it gets windy like this, the sensation it's even better.

Javier Baldovinos

The great thing about PD is that everyone can surf it and have a great time, no matter what you ride.

Javier Baldovinos

The bad thing about PD is that I have to wait a long time to get Surf Report quality photos to make you uncomfortable in your chair and want to contact us to reserve your next surf vacation with your friends and/or family... So, I went to check out Colorado.

Javier Baldovinos

The first thing I see when I arrived was Jackson Obando shredding a nice left.

Javier Baldovinos

And believe me when I say "SHREDDING"... Jackson has become such a powerful surfer.

Javier Baldovinos

And if Jackson is in the water, Kevin will be there too. They make a great team entertaining the crowds with all their tricks and unbelievable moves.

Javier Baldovinos

It makes it easy to take photos for the report when great surfers like these two are in the water.

Javier Baldovinos

Of course, there are plenty of good surfers that help us make the Surf Report as insteresting as we want.

Javier Baldovinos

If you feel like taking your surfboards on an airplane and carry it around it's too much hazard, then maybe you should think about getting one of these surfing mats that look super fun and easy to take everywhere. (Maybe somebody from Redback Surfware Australia will recognize the free Product Placement, and send me one in exchange).

Javier Baldovinos

There has been an increasing number of female surfers out at PC in the last few days, welcome home girls!

Javier Baldovinos

NSR Surf Tip #87: A simple yet stylish way to slow down on a wave it's pressing hard on the tail and lift the nose to create more dragging.

Javier Baldovinos

NSR Surf Tip #88: An even better way to slow down it's pressing hard on the nose (again) and turn the nose 90 degrees toward the breaking part of the wave.

Javier Baldovinos

If want to learn how to surf like a Pro, you just need to watch Jackson and many surfers, locals and foreigners, surfing PC. They make it look so easy!

Javier Baldovinos

Check out this guy hitting the lip at the perfect vertical time.

Javier Baldovinos

The lip kisses him back into the face in mid-air.

Javier Baldovinos

And he manages to control the fall without loosing his style.

Javier Baldovinos

And just for an extra touch, smacking the face again, this time with a full on turn on the same wave.

Javier Baldovinos

It was definitely a great day here in Colorado, everyone, from all ages can have a great time at this beautiful place we call home.

Redback Surf Australia, contact me if you want to talk business.

Hasta mañana!
