Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, July 20, 2016

What's up everybody?! This is Parker welcoming you to NSR's Humpday report. Fasten your seatbelt because we have some great action to show you!!

The swell was building yesterday afternoon so we thought it might need more tide and the early morning would be perfect. Marcio and I still found fun waves and rippable sections.

And Ignacio found a smooth line too. I don't know who is enjoying their vacation more: him surfing the beachie or his kids in the pool.

We ate a quick breakfast while the tide dropped and came back to find new conditions: clear blue skies, and hollow waves! We knew the show was just beginning...

Oscar Espinoza found one of the first waves. Keep scrolling down to see why he kills it backside!

10 photos later, he's still tucked in the tube.

Yeah primo!! Nice wave Oscar- let's see what other tricks you guys have up your sleeves.

The second set wave came next and his older brother, Lesther, stepped up to the plate. Notice how high of line this tubo maestro drew.

Americans have their "man caves" and locals have their "man caves" too. Which do you prefer?

Barrel riding or rail game, we can all learn a thing or two from his technique. That's why the Espinoza brothers are two of the best here.

Rights and lefts were both working on the northern peak. Before his three meetings, Carlos Caliente found a gem.

He disappeared almost as well as I disappear from the office when there's surf...

But we still find a way to get the job done! Nice wave Carl!

Everybody has been stoked the last couple of days. We knew our sandbars are in awesome shape but this current swell filled in to show their potential. Get out there and get a slice for yourself!

Junior has been super busy between high school and work lately. He slipped out for a morning session to take out the daily stress on this corner. Keep trucking along and doing great things hombre!

Kai DeLorenzo is rounding out his vacation so he's hunting twice as hard for tubes. Ask and you will receive...

Get it while the tide is low and the offshores are grooming it!!!

And he demonstrated the complete package on the next wave. Nice carve primo!

Farther north, Chucoyo was working on his air game. He's been shredding on his new Roberts courtesy of the Kerson family.

Yeah bro, I feel you. That's how I felt watching the surf go off while sitting on the beach!!!

As much time as Oscar spends carving the face or under the lip, he spends just as much above it. That's what makes him one of the most complete surfers here.

And Lesther knows he (unfortunately) can't make 100% of them. He can get very close to it and take it like a man when he's snowballed

Have you seen the forecast?! We should have similar fun surf through the week and then a fresh dose next week. Keep sending it our way Neptune!!!

In case you're stuck in a meeting, sitting in class, or can't find any Pokemon outside, here's a little something to cheer you up. I hope your vacation here is coming up soon!!!

If you are here and were surfing this morning, shoot me an email at [email protected]. Chances are I have your photos and your friends will be jealous!

Ok damas and caballeros, you know the drill: exit your browser and go surf!! We appreciate y'all checking out today's action and we hope you enjoyed it! Hasta en la manana amigos!
