Aside from the introduction surf shot, check out this barrel that Emily is comfortably slotted in. No onshore winds, not even a drop of rain today. Just amazing waves, from sun up until the sun went down.

And believe you me, when I say that day number 29 will be like he’s breaking up with a very passionate relationship, this one, her name is Colorado. But at least he’ll be catching many more turns and especially a ton more barrels like the one I unfortunately missed when he was out way early at 5:30am this morning… sorry buddy! :(

This kid was swinging well above the 95 percentile of perfect surfing level out there around midday.

Well, like I said, it’s always hard to walk away from surf; especially when it’s this good. But I turned one last time and said, well, if I don’t go now, I’ll definitely be here until the sun is completely out of site… and indeed, the waves fired for the rest of the afternoon. Let’s hope it’s a repeat like this again tomorrow! Have a great night everyone.
