Happy Monday everyone! Today the waves were small but with a great shape, peaks like this one were the norm of the day through all day. Super fun!

I went to Santana beach early in the morning to get some shots of the outgoing tide and this is what I found… first peak was throwing some good ones, not so hollow but good drops.

First peak is Tony’s favorite spot, whenever he comes to the beach he always goes there no matter the conditions, and today he scored some good ones. Yeah Tony!

But the good waves were not only at first peak, the whole length of the beach had A-frame peaks coming through.

The tide dropped really fast and it was time to go for some coffee and breakfast, even though Jan seemed that he didn’t want to leave.

At low tide I went to check out Rosada beach and lucky me there were two lonely surfers having some fun there. Rosada can be a tricky wave, it looks so nice and easy but in reality it is a fast, shallow wave. Look it here, it starting to get steep!

It’s very important to have the Eject Button within reach at all times because you will be using it very often.

… he went too deep at the wrong spot, the wave jacked up really quick making him loose the control. By the way, I was taking these photos from one of the houses we manage at Rancho Santana.

This is Casa Brown, right in front of Rosada beach, with an amazing view of the break. 3 bedrooms for up to 6 people.

Later in the early afternoon I went to Santana again for a party, the one and only Pancho was having his birthday at first peak with family and friends.

Looked like he invited everyone, the beach was packed with people in and out of the water. There were people walking, others just tanning but everyone was having a great time.

A few regular bodyboarders here at Santana doing 360’s, rollers and a few aerials on every wave. I need to meet these guys, I thought they were just random tourists but it looks like some of them are living full time here.
