Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 26, 2016

Hello everybody and welcome to the NSR report with Parker! To celebrate Sunday Funday, a friend and I took a quick drive to check out a reef. Check out the smorgasbord report!

We arrived to this 5 star resort to find leftovers. We enjoyed consistent shoulder high rollers and heavy sets of overhead all morning!

This spot is famous with the goofy footers for a good reason... The left point runs for about 200 meters and provides a barrel section off the take off and a rolling rippable face.

Well, while planning today's trip last night, we had a full car. Then the Mag Rock party consumed one buddy and a girlfriend locked up another. That left the two of us and my good friend unfortunately broke his board at the beginning of his session... A plethora of waves trickled through untouched...

We thought Mr. Woodman's crew would be on it again but they were taking a lazy morning. Yesterday, they were towing into double overhead Horseshoes on softtops! Nick said GoPro corporate policy dictates that new employees must charge on Wavestorms.

Before we keep going with today's action, NSR wants to wish its founder, Pancho Sanchez, a happy birthday! Pancho, we appreciate all your efforts and guidance behind the scenes to help us be a successful business. Now go pack a stand up man cave!!!

Check out this quick YouTube clip so you can see the entire wave! Considering we had an empty lineup, we want to spice it up and keep y'all on your toes.

This last swell was extremely powerful, brought massive waves, and caused minor coastal flooding. Despite the waves appearing small in the photos, there is good size and even better power. After getting some bombs during the week, we are excited to see the ocean return to normal and settle for head high tubes.

Clean up on aisle 6!!!! Even though the swell is dying, a handful of long powerful lines closed out. Maybe that's why we surfed a totally empty lineup all morning?

A nearby beachie was going off. It produced an endless amount of unridden rights...

Throughout last week's swell, numerous nooks and crannies turned on. If you knew were to look, you could have avoided huge waves and still scored great surf! Hint: this slab is not in the development we live in or the development we visited to surf this morning...

Ok damas and caballeros, hopefully we don't break anymore boards and our friends man up to make the next surf session (but a totally empty lineup isn't too bad either...). Thank you all for checking out today's report and have a good start to the week! Hotstick Hannahs is out.
