Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, June 16, 2011

What’s up folks?  This is Miguel Mora bringing you all the action for this Thursday surf report.  We went to the beach in the afternoon trying to catch some fun waves.  It was running about chest to shoulder  high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was warm.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have our friend Allan “La Prenda” Carcamo riding on this nice sized right hander, one of the many waves that he caught today.

What about our very good friend Mark he was catching a lot of waves.  Check him out picking up this beautiful and clean left hander.  Good job dude!

The waves were super fun today and we have a couple guys with their longboards taking some fun waves.  Here we have el Chad riding on his big panga on this one.

There were not many girls in the lineup, but Dunia was charging every single wave.  Look at her with a nice back side.

The locals were commanding the lineup today.  Here we have Norwin “El chulin” with a cool bottom turn on this beautiful left hander.

The lineup was not very busy today, we only had about 12 or 15 surfers in the water including a few locals.  This is Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe smacking the pocket.

On the last shot of the day we have this unknown surfer riding on this small but fun right hander.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  Please check back with us tomorrow!

Hold up everyone, Eric here postin' some shots from up north earlier today.  Andrew took the camera out to one of our favorite spots to get some shots.  Waves were coming in at about head high and lots of tubes storming through.  This is Tony "T-Mac" sittin' in the shade!

It wasn't all barrels out here.  This is Brad from Sebestian, Florida.  Fins free with some power!

Ian just came down with his wife from California.  He's been here a few times and it's no wonder he keeps coming back!  Nice little tube on this wave man!

That's all we have for you from up here today!  We'll be back again tomorrow, and you can bet that the waves will be here too!  Until then, keep it real folks!
