Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, June 16, 2008

Welcome to the Monday surf report. This is Roberto “Lucha Libre”, Jairo “Come Pan” Panic, and Mateo “Pledge” reporting in. The waves today were running about shoulder to head high with offshore wind. It was a little disorganized with some waves closing out, but we still had a good time. Check it out!

Alright, for the first surfing shot of the day we would like to feature Jeff “El Mujeriego” Barden. Jeff is from Florida, but he has been living here in San Jaun for the past two months. Here he is sneaking into a little pocket. Also ladies, Jeff is single and he keeps it real!

This is Roque “El Simpson” Balboa leaning back pretty hard into this cutback. “El Simpson” was stoked to be surfing out there with all of his Nica and gringo friends.

This is our good friend,Luis “La Baloy” Chamarro, who was out there just killing it. Here he is about to throw the fins out the back of this good looking right. “La Baloy” has been surfing pretty good lately, so if you are surfing against him in the contest this weekend you better put on your game face!

Here is Roldlofo “Calibily” on a pretty good looking right. He is caught here mid air with a chop hop 360, not the most attractive of maneuvers, but it will definitely get you some points in the contest.

Here is a shot of an unknown rider enjoying himself on an alright looking wave. As you can see not all the waves were great out there, but everyone was having a good time.

The last shot of the day we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro. He was flying all over the place today with maneuvers like this one.  I think he might be one to give his brother a run for his money. Alright the waves should be better tomorrow so check back.
