Granada is the oldest city in the whole Continental Americas, founded and registered as a city in 1524. It has a rich colonial heritage, seen in its architecture and structure. That humongous building in the center is the Granada Cathedral, and the other one to the left is the San Francisco Church, the oldest church in Granada (and Nicaragua) built in 1524.
