Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, June 01, 2008

Hi folks, this is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic and Mateo “Pledge” welcoming you to the Sunday surf report. We did not make it out to Maderas today because we had smaller waves with some onshore wind, but is was a perfect day to do some NSR surf lessons at Morgan’s Rock Eco Lodge/Hotel. Here is Mateo “Pledge” caught in action giving some surf instruction to our new friends from Managua.

Today JP was really stoked to go surfing for his very first time. He picked it up real quick and got a bunch of fun waves. Here he is taking off on a smooth little nugget. Good job buddy, we hope to see you again soon!

This is our next student Alejandra on a fun little wave. If you ever come to San Juan and want get some good exercise and have a ton of fun you should do some surf lessons with us, just ask Alejandra. She did a real good job today in the water applying what we taught her.

This is our last student Dania Maria taking this wave all the way to the shore.  She really displayed some control on the waves today. Here she managed to maneuver around a log that got washed into the ocean from our recent storm!

After a good surf lesson nothing is better than paddling out there and getting a few waves of your own.  I think maybe the instructors bonded a little too much, the next step would be putting these two on one board together. Alright, that’s enough love for one report, check back tomorrow.
