Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, April 18, 2006

All good things must come to an end - today is the first day this year that we received onshore winds here in Nicaragua. It was actually clean in the morning and then proceeded to blow light onshore from the afternoon on. I guess the kind of good news is that the onshore winds were accompanied by almost complete flatness in the Pacific (this is also unusual here). I snapped some shots to prove how flat it really was - it was probably ridable-flat at Maderas this morning. Check it out.

This is the biggest and only wave that came in during the half hour period I spend waiting. It's about waist high. No need to post many pictures today...check back later.
