Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, April 16, 2009

Welcome to the Thursday surf report, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the action today. The waves were a little bit smaller today but there were still pretty fun - actually it was kind of going off!  It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets with offshore winds all day long. Check out what we got for you guys today!!!

Our very own D-lite took out our new student Daniel from New York City to get the best surf lesson in the whole country.  Daniel made the right call because with D-lite as your instructor we guarantee you that you are going to stand up and score some fun waves.  Here we have a cool shot of them doing some beach instruction before they made it out.

There were some beautiful waves coming through and Lucas “El Pelucas” was in the right spot to catch some of them.  Here he is looking down the line on one of the many killer ones he had.

Lulu from Australia got hurt a few days before, but the waves were super fun and that didn’t stop her to paddle out.  Here she goes so excited to catch some good ones.  We hope you feel better soon Lulu.

A few local surfers were able to make it out to the beach and they were taking advantage on some of the better waves.  This is Carlos “El Chicharo” trying to get shacked on this left.

Some other visitors decided to take photos all over the place to keep good memories of this awesome beach.  I assume this one came out good, don’t you guys think so?

Here we have a shot of this unknown rider trying a late take off on this left.  Good job buddy!!!

The waves are supposed to be a little bit smaller tomorrow but it should be still pretty fun.  Please check back tomorrow!!!

In completely unrelated news, NSR team Mom takes time from her busy schedule for a photo opp with FL Governor Charlie Crist.  And I thought I had a good tan!  Way to go Mom.  You made it on NSR!  Tell Charlie he made it too!
