Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, April 15, 2012

I woke up this morning and what did I see?  A really fun beach break looking at me!  We've got a head-high swell in the water, slightly bigger on sets and plenty of peaks going right and peaks going left.  It seems the whole state of California is on spring break right now so there are a few people in the line-up, but there are lots of waves and everybody is getting some.  Check out my view as I walked down to the beach this morning...

The first peak was doing it's thing early and this Pale Rider learned the hard way.  Gotta backdoor that thing brother!

The light offshore winds were grooming the sets perfectly.  This one is titled "anticipation".

Hi everyone, this is Miguel Mora bringing you some of the action up the north.  The waves were running chest to shoulder head high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was warm.  Check out the lineup!!!

The lineup was not very busy today, we only had about 8 or 10 surfers in the water doing their things.  Here we have one of the dropping in on this nice sized wave.

The waves had very good conditions for making some barrels.  This guy was getting some fun waves.  Check him out riding in side on this little barrel.  Good job dude!

What about this unknown surfer he was having a good time and catching a couple waves.  Look at him picking up on this peeler left hander, one of the many waves that he caught today.

The waves were super fun today, check out this shot were these two guys riding at the same wave at the same time.  Take care mans we had a lot of waves all day.

Today we have a couple guys doing the best thing in the water.  This is one of them trying to maintain in side of this small but super fun little barrel, one of the many that we had today.
