Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, April 15, 2010

Hi and welcome to our daily surf report.  This is Miguel bringing you the Thursday surf report.  The waves were small, making the day perfect to take the big pangas out.  The lineup was a little bit busy but it was good because everybody was kind of mellow and we had waves for everybody.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first shot of the day we have our very good friend Juan “EL Duendecito” Bustos riding a sick looking right all the way in to the beach.  He’s been coming to the beach with us a couple times for the last 2 or 3 months and he’s already riding some nice ones.  Good for you my friend!!!

“La Bestia” just got back into town last night from Costa Rica.  He was participating in a surf contest in Santa Tereza where he got third place.  That’s not bad for a nica boy, thinking about the good surfing level that the ticos have.  Anyway, here he is laying down a cool round house.

“El Corage” Hernandez was doing his thing on the big board, picking really nice waves all over the place.  What a nice looking wave, uh!

It is nice to see the little kids improving their surfing level.  This little kid is only 13 years old and he’s surfing very well.  Check him out styling on this right!

Edwin “El Tuzo” Morales got back to the action and was trying to snap a few of the better waves he caught.  Here he is doing the best to destroy this one.  That’s not gonna happens if you keeps eating like a bear dude!

On the last shot of the day we have Caleb walking straight to the nose on this little nugget.  The waves are supposed to stay like this for the next few days so we gotta wax our big boards up and paddle out tomorrow.
