Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, April 13, 2021

Brian Scott

Hola & Happy Tuesday mis amigos! Well today was a real treat…! I’ll explain here shortly, but the waves were definitely doing it’s thing at the beachie (once again) around that same (high tide line once again) in that perfect afternoon time. So let’s get on with it shall we…!

Brian Scott

So here’s one of the many reason why today was so special. This guy just got into town. My long time pal and all around super cool dude, Mr. Michael Marcellino (AKA “Muzzy”) and it couldn’t have been more impeccable timing as he was helping me out by bringing me down some very very crucial expensive camera gear. Muchísimas gracias mi amigo!!! Here’s to some of the best photos I owe to you for the next solid 10 days of swell buddy!

Brian Scott

Here’s one of the other special reasons…. another long time Colorados regular and super sick shredder, Louie “Lou-Dog” Preysz just came in for this swell as well. Both being well traveled surfers and uniquely genuinely awesome dudes, chose the perfect time to come as that swell actually started showing signs of arrival later this evening and I think tomorrow could very well be on FIRE!!!!

Brian Scott

We might see more barrels than turns, but we can only HOPE!!!

Brian Scott

Mini pre-barrels are ok too! We are non-judgmental here.

Brian Scott

Now that the conditions have cleaned up (that meaning that the offshores have calmed down quite a bit)… if it stays this clean and we have some solid pumping swell like the forecast predicts, not only the surfers here but you online viewers are in for some serious good eye candy!

Brian Scott

Louie’s lip bash like this, goes back…. like WAY back to his earlier surfing days. Somewhere that is from what I hear is the oldest city in the USA on the east coast.

Brian Scott

Tati getting all wrapped up like a home made Tortellini sorta shaped wave. Sorry Tati, couldn’t resist he Italian foodie ref. It’s dinner time and I’m super hungry hahaha!

Brian Scott

Young Carlitos Jr. getting better each and every day. Yeah lil dude… keep at it hijo!!!

Brian Scott

Chris with the landing gear engaged, the flaps down coming in hot for his landing!!!!

Brian Scott

The one thing I love MOST about still photography vs video. A freeze frame captures the essence of so many things in just one frame alone, but can invoke a feeling no two people might feel all at the same time.

Brian Scott

Cross fitness is cool and all, but John Gillem’s cross stepping to the nose of his log will always be remembered and deemed one of the most classic maneuvers in surfing forever.

Brian Scott

Derek shredding the gnar on his yellow gemelo!!! Sick turn brother!

Brian Scott

Drop in, pull in, but always keep them eyes open… because that view is worth every in penny onpounds you’re about to get drilled with. Our very own Mr. Chris showing what he can do in front of the lens instead of being behind it or up in the sky on his drone. Damn, actually I wish I had a drone of this sick barrel!!!

Brian Scott

If it’s shakas that are being thrown down, then you’re in the right place. PEACE ~
