Brian Scott

Bienvenido al Sunday Surf Report y Feliz Pascua de Nicaragua!

Brian Scott

Today we were blessed with some fun waves and also some fun festivities for the kiddos for Easter!

Brian Scott

Zac getting an early Easter Egg.

Brian Scott

The waves were pumping… and when I say pumping, it was still a bit side shore, but the waves were incredibly consistent.

Brian Scott

And well overhead on some of the sets!

Brian Scott

Everyone out was frothing…

Brian Scott

AND ripping!!!

Brian Scott

Our very own Javier aka “Baldo” se divierte un día de Pascua!

Brian Scott

Baldo, do you ever stop working?? Jaja

Brian Scott

This guy got kinda framed by an Easter Egg looking piece of drift wood. Nice turn amigo!

Brian Scott

This guy would have been pitted in that very same drift wood looking Easter Egg but he got smashed just before he had his opportunity.

Brian Scott

The rail game was on point out there for sure.

Brian Scott

I’m not sure exactly what to call this wave, but it looked gnarly from the backwash.

Brian Scott

I found out today that all those kids that have been out ripping, were all High School kids from the Huntington Beach area.

Brian Scott

This is one of the dads from the group. All those kids are stoked they have such a cool chaperone to shoot them while they go out and rip every day.

Brian Scott

Like this kid.

Brian Scott

and this kid too, which happens to be his son. Ripping!!!

I have to say today was pretty good, for the afternoon session. Can’t say too much for the earlier parts of the day. That being said, based on the forecasts, we have another really good looking swell coming in this week, so let’s cross our fingers the sandbars start shaping up a little better and we start to see some serious barrels out there very soon!

Happy Easter from all of us in beautiful sunny Nicaragua!! Feliz Pascua de Nicaragua ~
