Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 30, 2009

Hi everybody, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you all the action from out here at Playa Maderas.  The waves were super fun this afternoon, running about chest to head high on sets with offshore winds.  The lineup was a little bit busy but it was very mellow.  Check out the lineup!!!

There were a few locals out taking advantage of the surf conditions.  This is Jamil “El Coki” Brox with a cool backside snap on this left.  It was so nice to see all the locals having fun out there.

On the next shot we have Ben “Nacho Mamas” Hubeck taking off on a sweet right hander.  The lineup was kind of busy but there were still many fun waves that rolled in with no takers.

Here we have an unknown rider getting some speed to make it through this section on this sweet left with great form.  Check out this shot from Bella Bista, this is one of the best places to stay near Maderas.  Just imagine sleeping, waking up and checking the surf action right from your balcony.  Sweet place, doesn’t it?

Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro was able to paddle out and catch plenty of good waves.  Here he is going big with his signature maneuver.  He wants to keep in good shape for the upcoming surf contests.

Jairo “Come Pan” Panic had the day off so he took his sponge out to catch some waves.  Check him getting covered on one of the better set waves of the day.  Enjoy your day off buddy!!!

This is Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe looking down the line on this beautiful right.  He’s one of the grommet surfers that want to be part of the world surf.  Good of luck Felipe!!!

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  The waves should be fun tomorrow so be sure to check us back out.
