Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 28, 2009

Hi and thanks for joining us for the Saturday surf report.  This is Roberto Lucha Libre Garcia bringing you all the action from out here at the most popular surfing beach around San Juan del Sur.  Today we headed out to Maderas early in the morning to take advantage of the surf conditions.  The wind was already on when we got there but it was super light, there were some fun waves coming through as well.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was not crowded at all - there were only two guys out taking plenty of sweet rides all over the place.  Here we have this unknown pale rider looking down the line on this right.

As you can see on this sign there were some really good smoothies on the beach.  They had several flavors!!!

Manuel “La Bellota” Cascante was the only local surfer that was out representing “La Nasa”.  Here he is taking off on a nice looking left.

A few of the locals didn’t want to paddle out with the onshore wind and they decided to do other kind of sports on the beach.  Check out this cool shot of Kike playing baseball.  There is always something to do down here even when the winds are onshore.

The summer season is “ON” down here.  There will be a huge party on the bay tonight, where more than 5 different dicoteque will be playing some music.  If you are around town be sure to check it out because it might be “DEACACHIMBA”.  The surfing conditions are supposed to be the same for the next 2 or 3 days so be sure to make it out to the beach in the morning.
