Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 24, 2012

We headed out to Playa Maderas super early this morning and we realized that the swell dropped down a bit.  Chest to head high waves on the bigger sets, strong offshore winds and cold water.  Check it out!!!

The lineup was almost empty this morning and we can see why on this shot.  San Juan del Sur was going off last night and a few guys had the party all the way to this morning.  7am drinking beers? That sounds like a wild party!!!

Dario was the only one out there and he was doing his best to catch some waves but it was really tough with the strong winds we had.  Here he is dropping in a fast racer!

You can see how strong the winds were blowing this morning.  Danmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

We made it back into town and got able to snap this killer screen saver shot for you guys.  It is still green out there and the water is still there!

We drove back to Playa Maderas in the afternoon trying to get some pics and this is what we found.  The winds died and everyone out there was able to score some fun ones.  La Pinolera looking down the line of this right hander.

La Terepotita was ripping all over the place.  Check him out with a cool off the top on this section.

It looks like the party will be going off again tonight ‘cause we have lots of people around.  This was the scene on the beach.

Last shot of the day goes to Ronald about to bust a nice aerial move.  That’s all for today folks, please check back tomorrow!
