Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, March 24, 2011

I got not many words to describe how sick the waves were today.  The swell filled in today and there were some beast rolling in.  It was way over head on sets, the winds were pretty strong but it looks like nobody was worried about them.  Check out the lineup!!!

Mine good friends paddled out inside the reef and they actually picked up some nice ones.  This is Peter dropping into a nice sized right hander.

Miles was killing it, one more time.  He also got to score some amazing lefts on his 5’11fish.

John made it out on his bogie board and did his best to ride some nice ones as well.  Here he is racing down the line on this massive right.

Craig was also around the right and rode some fun ones.  Another over head wave, all to himself.

There was some serious action outside the reef, and the brothers Ressano were there to take advantage on some of the better ones.  Manuel working on his bottom turn on this one!!!

Manuel again, now getting deep.  Just listening the huge train coming up to him.  Uhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

There was action all over the place.  Unknown surfer with a sick frontside turn!

Cabezas with kinda the wipe out of the day.  It wasn’t that bad!

Uh, uh maybe it was.  Broken board, not even cares where the other half ended up because he has to rum and get another board to paddle back out.

He wanted to make sure not to rum again so he brought down a couple.  Hope you don’t break anther one buddy!

Check out this crazy drop sequence of Manuel. Shot 1, I think a little late!

Shot 2, a little air drop!

Shot 3, still in the air.  He was floating with the strong winds we had.

Shot 4, tail in the water.  Just a little bit.

Shot 5, hitting flat.  The hardest part of the drop.

Shot 6, looking for control.

Shot 7, bending knees a little bit to get more stability.

Shot 8, it seems likes he’s got it.

Shot 9, big bubble to lose a little balance again!

Shot 10, I do not know how the hell he pulled this drop off but it was amazing to watch it live.

A lot more to come.  The sequence of the day goes to Cabezas.  Shot 1, dropping right in the peak!

Shot 2, frontside foot going sideways.

Shot 3, trying to keep the balance!

Shot 4, setting up for the bottom turn.

Shot 5, looking down the line!

Shot 6, you can see how strong the winds were on this shot.
