Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, March 22, 2021

Brian Scott

Welcome to the Monday surf report and while everyone starts to prepare for the week just before one of the biggest holiday festivals in all of Latin America, Semana Santa. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, we have some new swell in the water as well! Let’s see what I was able to catch with my camera for the last 45 min of beautiful sunset light shall we.

Brian Scott

Always a good thing when you’re creeping up through the jungly bushes to see someone pulling into the greenroom!

Brian Scott

Walk a little further out from the lush foliage and onto the sand and you’ll see that there’s not just one person, but a few people out doing the same exact thing at each peak all the way down the stretch of beach.

Brian Scott

People going bonkers pulling into barrels like a bunch of water monkeys!!!!

Brian Scott

Mr. Mouse playing with the lip here like Jerry always taunting Tom the cat.

Brian Scott

A silhouette of Jett on an afternoon golden burner like this one is pretty unmistakable for the little guy with 100% zero fear!

Look down the beach the other way at the same time and it looks like this was taken from a different time of day, OR a completely different day all together… but nope. Just the difference of the sun and its magnificent job of what it does for us photographers.

Mystery barrel surfers in March….. Haaaaa of course!

Brian Scott

Man, if tomorrow morning is anything similar to this evening, I have a feeling anyone reading todays (later) report will be down there around first light. Including myself.

Brian Scott

Because the beachie looked nothing like this earlier today, that’s for sure!

For surfers, this is what dreams are made of.

And for everyone else, this is (in some places) million dollar views. Your’s today is completely free! Hope you enjoyed ~
