Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, March 10, 2012

Hi folks, Lucha is back in town with a quick report from Playa Maderas. The swell definitely picked up and the whole spot was almost closing out. This right point was working every once in a while but nobody was there to score some of it. Over head on sets, howling offshore winds and cold water. Check it out!!!

Did I say almost closing out?  This was the scene out front!

There were some nice peaks rolling in at Machete Pt, pretty much the only place you could have surf today.  Dale chabalo!!!

Classic shot that we never get tired to post on.  La Vaca mu, La Vaca muuuuuuu!!!!!

This guy tried to make it to the lineup but he couldn't.  Too much currents, lots of winds and nice sized sets.  What a combo, uh!

This guy was the only one catching waves today.  He was riding a huge super panga, as you can see.  Way easier to paddle and catch the waves.

That's all from down here folks, Carlitos might post a couple pics from up north later so stay tuned!
