Good day to everyone tuning in with us here at NSR!  This is Eric brining in this Friday’s surf report for everyone to enjoy!  The water has some energy today!  Head high with strong offshore wind and a chilly water temperature were on tap today!

I asked Parker to paddle out at the point for me so we could all get a perspective on how that wave was looking early this morning! It was tricky, but there were a few sets breaking right up against the rock!

With nobody else out, Parker had his choice of which set wave he wanted. Some turned out good, others, like this one, ended up sectioning in front of him!

Back down to the beach break we went and right away I spotted our friend Hollywood pulling in on her frontside rail!

Hey Chris, I heard there’s a video of you claiming to be the “Co*****o Kid!” I’m not sure that title fits if you straighten out on a beauty like this!! All jokes aside, Chris does get some righteous tubes out here on the regular!

Our buen amigo Lesther is always finding the spot when the waves are offering it! He had more good barrels today than everyone else combined I think!

We always like to respect our Ocean and remember how grateful we are to be able to surf these incredible waves! Yes, we are certainly stoked to call this our home, and want to show nothing but gratitude and good vibes to the Mother Sea! Don’t forget to show respect!!

Colin was out, cruising on some good waves with his single fin! That’s right, taking the single fin off the lip!

This guy is so good at being in the sweet spot! The next ten shots you don’t see much of Lesther, just a big hollow right-hander!

Ahh, and comes flying out! Everyone has their own style we know, with Lesther, no need to claim it to hard, just throws up a subtle peace sign to his amigo out on the shoulder and lets his surfing do the talking! Buen tubo hombre!

Scooting up on the twin fin for more speed! Unfortunately this wave was a bit to fast to be makable… Not a bad ride with a great view though!

Natalia is here visiting all the way from Poland! She has been doing some surfing, but this morning, she was just watching the power that was coming in!

Lesther wasn’t going to let Carlos get away in the barrel, so he grabbed his leash and yanked him back! Look Close! Hah! Whoa muchachos, take it easy!

We want to wish a big warm welcome back down, to our good friend, Steffi “hollywood” Kerson! So good to see you again, our big wave charging friend! Steffi is going to be very nice to her new sister Brownie and is stoked to have such a beautiful new family member!
