Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, February 13, 2011

What’s up folks?  We are the NSR family bringing you all the action for this Sunday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to score some fun waves.  The waves were super fun, it was running about chest to shoulder head high on sets with a little strong offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have our very good friend Dunia, she was catching a few good waves this morning.  Check out her looking good riding on this small but fun right hander, one of the better waves that she caught today.

A few local gringos were getting some fun ones.  Here I caught one of them.  Look at him destroying the lip on this little nugget.

As I said before the waves were super fun, here we have these girls with their Boggy Boards walking to the water just seconds to paddle out and catching some ones.

Today we had a few international surfers doing the best thing.  Here we have this unknown guy riding on this peeler right hander.

When we arrived to the beach this morning not many people was there.  Check out this girl watching all the action from the beach and enjoying of this very sunny day.

The lineup was not very crowded today, we only had about 12 or 14 surfers in the water including a few locals.  Here we have Memo “El Coyote” Solis, he was killing every single wave.  Check him out with a cool from side aerial.

The locals were commanding the lineup this morning.  Here we have one of them, this is Oliver “El Monito” Solis, and he was ripping all over the place.  Look at him throwing some buckets on this little wave.  Good job Monito.

On the last shot of the day we have this nice explosion.  Alright folks that’s all for today.  We hope to have some better waves on the next few days.  Please check back with us tomorrow!
