Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, February 11, 2021

Brian Scott

Hola and Happy Thursday surf friends! Twas a fine day out there in the blistering midday sun. We even had this really cool catamaran pull up and drop anchor for the whole session. Just another day in paradise is what’s frequently coined around here.

Only if these jungles had eyes (or in this case) a camera peeping out of the jungle back in the 70’s and 80’s. Yes, the waves would be surfer-less…. or would it have been????

Brian Scott

Mico Grom Carlito’s Jr. bout to get shacked! Matter fact he’s unique in the fact that he’s about the only one on the entire beach, or lineup shall I say, to be able to claim a barrel out there with these waves!

Otherwise, it was waist high maybe a tad bigger (or) smaller depending on the sets. But it was clean and super fun at the mid to high tide time.

2 footers paradise. You could call it that!

“I’ve seen bigger waves in a toilet bowl” said one famous Aussie from some cult surf flick from way back in the 80’s. You old enough to remember that classic surf movie????

All I know, is the if you can do this….

Brian Scott

Or this…. on a day like today. You have certainly got some super sick surf skills!

Brian Scott

Never a bad idea to keep the flying egg lying around for days like today. The perfect board for todays conditions, in my opinion!

If you’re gonna come out to play…. play like you mean it! These kids weren’t messing around out there!

Brian Scott

See what I’m sayin’!!!! Sick move buddy!!!

It’s always good to jump around and out of your comfort zone….. speaking of, I need to follow my own advice! Anyone have a killer catamaran I could borrow next month. I think I’m going to have quite a few free days when Mr. Chris comes back and I go back to 4 days of reports and not 6! Haha just messin’ with you Chris, but hope to see you back soon! Miss your great energy and positive vibes ~
