Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, February 02, 2012

The waves got a tad smaller today and we were not too excited about that.  It was running about knee high on the bigger sets, the winds were quite strong offshore, the water was cold and a few jelly fish were around.  Check it out!!!

Not many people made it out today.  We have to say that there were some decent and long waves to be ridden.  Check out this unknown rider taking this one all the way in.

Did we mention that the winds were howling?  You really had to take care of your boards, if you didn’t want them to fly away.

Remember that we have the best quiver in town, but if you do not want to be driving around with a board you can get to rent you a board at the beach.  Not the best quality but it works!

We do not know how Chulin did it today, but he was riding his shortboard out there.  He might be less than 100 pounds then, because the waves were not big enough to charge on a shortboard.

Since the waves are small, and the water is chilly all the fish and lobster around is coming closed to shore.  So all the divers are wearing on their wetsuits and jumping out in the water to get some.

As you can see there wasn’t much going on out there, hoping to have better luck tomorrow.  Please check back with us!!!
