Nicaragua Surf Report for Sunday, December 25, 2022

Brian Scott

Happy Sunday & wishing everyone out there on this special day a very Merry Christmas! Hoping all of you out there in cyber land had an enjoyable and festive Christmas Eve and Christmas day today! We received a little Christmas gift here in Nica-Land as well. We had a nice little Christmas surprise swell and for those who were out, I’m sure after everyone woke and spent or did what they normally do with their Christmas mornings, all the surfers that are here now paddled out around mid day and enjoyed todays bonus gift on this absolutely beautiful Christmas Sunday Funday!

Asher opening up more gifts after what I imagine was a joyful morning with him and his family.

A flat Sunday is one thing. . . a flat Sunday on Christmas morning, well that would just be not too fun. Luckily, we had the opposite.

Beautiful conditions and lighting all throughout the day.

Oddly, it actually rained just a tiny bit today as a little mini batch of rain clouds passed by. But that was quickly over and it went right back to being a gorgeous amazing weather and buenísimo waves kind of day!

Big Scott out there after a nice little Holiday getaway to South America, but I’m sure he’s glad to be back home surfing in his backyard again.

December 25th and the waves or swell was in this size range today and I think it’s supposed to get a little bigger or at the very least stay this way all the way up to possibly the end of the month, ie. year.

Asher going big on this last parting shot from todays epic Christmas session!
