Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, December 03, 2011

This morning we made it back to Playa Maderas and found some nice waves rolling in.  It was running about waist to chest high on the bigger sets, the winds were quite strong offshore and the water was chilly.  Check it out!!!

The waves were perfect to learn how to surf.  Just remember that we have the best Surf School in the whole town.  So let us know if you guys want to surf in your first day out.

There were a few longboarders out there, having fun on the small but nice shape waves we had.  Check out this unknown rider racing down the line on this right.

The waves were big enough to ride on shortboard, as you can see.  This is Leandro “El Suricatita” Chamorro with a small but cool slash.

Lindsey was the only girl we had out there this morning.  Here she is caught working on her backside bottom turn on this peeler.

Lindsey’s husband was doing his thing as well.  Check him out bottom turning a nice little nugget on his frontside.

There were only two local guys in the lineup.  This is one of them on this nice looking left.  Romel enjoying the ride on this left.

The last shot of the day goes to Roberto “Tira Fuego” on a nice sized set wave.  Miguel will be back tomorrow with our Sunday report so please check back with us!
