Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Hi folks, this is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia bringing you the action of the Tuesday surf report from Playa Maderas.  Today we drove up in the morning because we wanted to score some fun waves by ourselves.  It looked like the swell was already hitting because there were some sizeable waves coming through.  It was running about chest to head high on sets and the water was warm and clear.  Check out what we got for you!!!

There weren’t many people out today, there were only three locals and four international surfers in the lineup.  The crowd was completed by six beginners trying to get some surf in the inside.  Here we have an unknown rider catching a nice looking right.

The inside was pretty busy today and we had a couple of accidents.  Check out this guy with the yellow board about to get a free kiss from the guy wearing the red shirt.  They really love to be together, even when they are surfing.  I don’t know why!!!

The locals were charging out there at Machete Pt.  Here we have a shot of Manuel “La Meduza” Cascante with a sweet air drop on one of the better set waves of the day.  This guy was killing it.

This is another unknown rider getting a sick “GRINGO SPLAT”.  Maybe he wanted to go diving because the water was super clear.  Hey buddy, you need a mask, snorkel and a spear gun to go diving, you don’t need a surfboard.

The lineup was not crowded today so there were many good waves with no takers.  Check out this barreling right going all the way in to the beach by itself.  What a shame!!!

Here we have Lester “El Coyotito” Solis with the last shot of the day.  The swell is supposed to pick up tomorrow so check back with us and see what we’ll have for you.
