Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Hello and thank you for joining us for the Wednesday surf report.  Today we went to the beach and the waves were less the stellar.  It was running knee to waist high and the weather was sunny and warm.  So we thought we would let Sarah give you the 411 on the day.

We only had one or two locals in the water today and they were not catching many waves at all.  We happened to get a shot of Norwin “Chulin” Estrella doing his best to get some speed on a small left.

Don’t think we let the lack of waves spoil our fun!   We decided to take the families to the river for some serious shrimping.  But things quickly turned comical after the long walk through the jungle. “ Cervesa anyone?”

Before we could unleash our wrath on the shrimp, we had to set up camp and get to the grinds!  Jairo’s pico de gallo will make you wanna slap yo mama!

Just look at the intensity on Roberto’s face!   Once these tacos were finished, we knew we had to get in the water and go hunting!  You know what time it is?  It’s Lucha Time!

Ok, so the shrimp were more vicious than we were.  D-lite tried to tame one, but he was quickly turned down by the deadly demon that tried to eat his tongue.

We hope you enjoyed our day as much as we did!  The waves will pick up soon and you will miss these tender moments from the NSR family.  Thanks for checking us out and we’ll see you tomorrow!
