Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, October 22, 2011

Today we were thinking about making a little tour but we didn’t because the winds turned stronger onshore compared to yesterday and the swell is pretty small.  So we opted to stay around the day and this is what we found.

There were definitely some waves coming in but the day looks way funnier to practice a little bit of skimboard.  This sport is getting very popular down here.

As we said before this sport is getting more popular every day, even for national and international people.  This is Jeremy El Pelucas with a cool shot.

The locals were having fun on that thing as well.  El Feto going big in the background with a nice little floater.

A few international surfers made it out to the lineup and scored some decent ones on their big pangas.  This is Kevin riding this little left all the way down to the river mouth.

This couple showed out to the beach and paddled out on their huge SUP’s.  It was nice to see that guy teaching his lady how to ride that thing.

La Bestia Calderon wasn’t worried about the size, because he can rips anything.  Here he is caught with a nice looking turn on this right.

Alright folks, that’s all for today.  God bless you all!!!
