Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, October 12, 2009

What’s up folks?  We are the NSR Family bringing you the action for the Monday surf report.  It seems that the rainy season finally started down here in Nicaragua.  We’ve had pretty good rain for the last two nights and today it’s overcast, that’s a good sign for rain.  Anyway, we made it out to the beach and found some small but waves.  Check it out!!!

There were a couple of international guys out, taking plenty of fun waves.  Here we have this guy from Ireland riding a nice looking left.

This is Jonathan dropping into this little nugget with great form.  Hey buddy, we got a few cool shots of you from the last few days, so make sure to check NSR Surf Shots.

The waves had been small for the last few days but it seems like we have a good swell on the way.  So, you gotta wax your board up and practice every single day, so you might score some bigger ones later this week.

We had some nice looking waves coming in, and this guy picked up a few of the best ones.  Even when the waves are small, you can have some much fun down here in Nicaragua.

Bunch of beginners were out in the inside part of the beach doing the best to ride some waves.  This is Caroline from CA with a solid stand up, not bad for first time, uh!!!

On the last shot of the day we have “La Baloy” Chamorro digging a deep bottom turn on this right.  We hope to have bigger waves tomorrow, so be sure to check us back out.
