Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, September 18, 2008

Hello and thank you for joining us for the Thursday surf report.  Today the waves were not very big and the wind was ON SHORE.  It was running about waist high so we decided to cruise around town and see what was going on.  Here is a shot of the Bay of San Juan Del Sur.

We wanted to show everyone out in internet land how much work the people of our beautiful town were getting done.    We will start with the Mayor’s office workers who make sure that the streets and beaches are kept clean.  Take it from us there was plenty of work to be done and they were doing a great job.  Our town is looking awesome.  Thank you very much for the time and effort.

We also wanted to show you some major progress that is taking place at the future NSR House.  Today a crew from Managua showed up with the built in cabinets for the kitchen, the bedroom closets and the entertainment center and let us tell you that we were stoked to see them.  The house has been a slow process but we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

There is some sad news in the land of paradise, we are sorry to report that D-lite had a slight accident on his new motorcycle and had to go to the clinic for some minor repairs.  As you can see in this picture he had to get a few stitches, 4 internal and 20 external, please D-lite be more carful in the future. Let this be a lesson learned, those things can kill you

We also want to show you a couple of before and after pictures of his new moto.  This one is the before…

This is the after, wow what a difference one little accident can make.  Hope you had some insurance.

Today Roberto wanted to learn how to drive the new addition to the NSR fleet.  It was a rough start but after 15 minutes or so he had it wired.  We don’t know if you would let him take you for a ride as of yet but he seems to be doing just fine.

This is a parting shot of this weird looking guy we met on the way back home , does he look crazy or what?  We hope you have enjoyed our report for the day, please check back with us tomorrow.  Lates!!
