Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, September 14, 2009

Hi and welcome to the daily surf report with NSR.  First at all we want to let you know that today we are celebrating our national patriot day.  It’s one of those days when more than 300 students go out to the main streets in town and a few bands play their best playlist to be part of the big cultural party.  Here we have a shot of the scene.

Dagne was part of the huge crew of students we had in the local park today.  She was so stoked to be part of this cultural festivity for first time.

The waves were super fun, running about chest to head high on sets with perfect offshore winds and the water was nice and clear.  Check it out!

Miguel went out to the beach this morning and got back with some nice shots to be posted.  Here we have Ben “Nacho Mamas” Hubek dropping into a nice left.

There were a few unknown surfers taking advantage on the rights.  Here we have this guy having fun on one of the many waves he had this morning.

How about Carlitos “Calientito” picking up one of the better set waves of the day.  Come on dude, pull into that sick left.

Meanwhile Carlitos was getting into a few good barrels Pancho Sanchez was flying all over the place.  We are not kidding this time folks, that’s Panchito with a sweet aerial move.

Ariel was able to make the trip with the NSR crew and scored some small but nice form waves.  Check him out looking down the line on this one.

On the last shot of the day we have Oliver “EL Monito” Solis getting deep on this one.  The swell is supposed to drop a little bit tomorrow but we are guessing that it might be pretty fun out there.
