Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, June 15, 2021

Brian Scott

Bienvenido al informe de surf del Martes! Welcome to the Tuesday surf report… for all those needing a little español in your Tuesday diet. Today we had onshore winds, but still plenty of surf able waves. Come on in and take a peek.

Brian Scott

Making hamburger helper out of todays onshore mush burgers. Pretty sick little turn really though!

Brian Scott

We all have our daily routines, rituals and basic non-thinking practices that goes on virtually every time we do something that’s repeatedly done from day to day. Waxing up being one of them, although forgetting this basic and otherwise crucial ritual can make or brake your entire session, usually proving so on your first turn on your first wave.

Brian Scott

Like this! ever try doing this kind of turn “sin” wax???

Brian Scott

Other than the basics of keeping your feet connected to your tabla, this turn, even this wave itself makes today look waaaaay better than it really was.

Brian Scott

Coming in for a fin change or reaching for one of the ripest of ripe coconuts on the tall palm. It all goes down while I’m usually looking and just staring out at the horizon, waiting for every wave and surfer to give me something worthy to put on the days report.

Brian Scott

Lucas with the look of the eye of the tiger and pushing his peddle to the metal to get past that fast and very determined closeout.

Brian Scott

Look like Lucas won that round!!!! Yah Chavalo!

Brian Scott

Believe me when I say the guys were making it look way easier than it really was out there today.

Brian Scott

How bout this little, well, actually pretty good size foam climb. Some sick things can be improvised when the winds turn inside out at our normally offshore haven.

Brian Scott

Despite it not looking as photogenic as it is with offshore winds, I still find some sort of little slice of interest in seeing what people can do with their skills in these types of conditions.

Brian Scott

Fascination I guess would be a better term. Like how fascinating this late take off is for Lucas and it even looks somewhat glassy too!

Brian Scott

For those who made the paddle out today, I salute you just as much as I appreciate you for giving me some really decent content for todays surf report. Gracias amigos!!!!

Brian Scott

Even though you can see there were still some potential corners, I think the gang all called it a day right around the same time all together. Time for some ping pong or table tennis. Hope the winds return from Rivas again soon!

Brian Scott

Packing it up and making that a wrap for today. As always thanks for stopping by. Cheers to your beers, and if you don’t drink, Saludos and more kudos to you ~
