Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, June 12, 2023

Brian Scott

Welcome back for a very Caribbean color Monday!  Todays weather, lighting, water colors were super uber tropical. Looked like I was shooting over on the East Cast side of Nicaragua today, but with waves.

When the occasional cloud passed by, it blocked out the sun, thus making it turn a little shadowed, but this guys long board shredding wasn’t to be overshadowed by anything. His ripping was super high performance!

Uncle Ricky has been the man on fire out there lately. Hitting the gym, getting in a lot of water time and as you can see here, killing it like the young buck he is. . .

Brian Scott

That of course is when he’s not out slaying real Bucks out in the wild out back deep forests!

Brian Scott

Couple of my Santa Marta amigos love to hit this little secret spot when the swells not too big and not too small, kinda perfect for todays conditions.

Sophie, looking for a little more shade than just that surf cap. It was super hot out there today!

Brian Scott

Her main squeeze, Bauti, looking for the same thing. Some shade by way of some tube time!

Looking back over to how mis amigos were doing down at their little rampy, bowly fun wavs over the rocks. Oscar, punting one for the three chicas that walked all the way down there to cheer them on (or more like flirt with some of the local boys - jejeje) ;)

Brian Scott

Derek going for one of the bigger set’s of the day while I was down there shooting. . .

Brian Scott

If any wave he paddles into even looks remotely like it’s going to barrel, you know he’s gonna pull in every time!!! Going for the “Hail Marry”!!!

Getting out there and enjoying some sun, that refreshingly salt water on the skin always makes your day that much better!! All shaka’s and surf stoke for this Monday’s wrap up! Nos vemos mañana ~
