As if this onshore madness hasn’t lasted long enough, only less than a week, however I wanted to share what friend of mine posted today on social media:

WARNING 🚨🌧🌊 Notice #2 / CENTRAL AMERICA Torrential rain between May 30 and June 4 could cause severe flooding and landslides in Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and northwest Costa Rica. Low pressure could turn into tropical depression early hours on Saturday May 30th generating strong waves on the Pacific coast from the coast of Guanacaste province in Costa Rica to the Guatemala and Mexico border during the 30th. and May 31, in this scenario the safety of small boats will be compromised. Waves can exceed 4 meters high on the high seas and cause coastal damage throughout the coast of the above area. Low pressure off the Pacific coast of Central America is 70 % cyclonic chance for the next 5 days as reported by the U.S. National Hurricane Center. This forecast represents data analysis made by Geography of Nicaragua based on information from NOAA's Global Forecast System.

* This forecast has a high degree of uncertainty at the time of this publication, this forecast is not in consensus to the ECMWF forecast, however given the high reliability of both models, we have decided to inform the possible consequences that GFS data reflect us. * For official information contact the relevant local authorities. * Forecast subject to update Jose M.
